About
Carl J. Kurtz

Carl is a freelance Graphic Designer from Hamburg, Germany.
His work focuses on typography and identity design.

His work combines conceptual depth and practical design, whether through historical research, experimental typeface design, or strategic, target-group-oriented brand development.

The methods and tools of his design practice are often as important as the final product, which is reflected in his research interests. In type design, for instance, he finds inspiration in the intersection of visual design, research, and technical precision.
