At the end of 2021 I was lucky to take part in the principles of typedesign crash course by Troy Leinster. The goal of the 3 Month online class was to create the beginnings of a typeface. In addition to the wonderful help and support from Troy, the course opened my eye to the whole process of typedesign beginning with calligraphy up to the presentation and marketing of the typeface.

The extensive sketching that we had to do in the beginning really helped me to let loose and let go of my preconceptions I had about how I thought typefaces had to look.
